September 26, 2018 - Venango County Association of Township Officials Annual Convention (Oakland Twp. Fire Hall, Dempseytown, PA)

Approximately 70 officials from Venango County’s 20 townships attended the convention, including Venango County Commissioner Albert “Chip” Abramovic;  District Office Representatives from State Senator Scott Hutchinson; Kim Scott, State Rep. Lee James’ District Office Manager; Julie Slomski, Governor Wolf’s Northwest Regional Office; Sheila Fitzgerald Sterritt, US Sen. Pat Toomey’s Northwest Regional Manager; Brad Moore, Congressman Glenn Thompson’s Northwest Regional Director; Ginni Linn, Director of Communications for PSATS (Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors). 

Keystone Energy Forum (KEF) had a table and distributed material on a number of natural gas issues and was given the opportunity to address the attendees and give a brief description of what KEF is and what we do.

Travia: Venango County is home to the nation’s first oil well.
